We rescued a stray dog.

We went to the park around lunch time so it was fairly quiet. We ran and chased birds, and also we played with the ball. Silky is very good at bringing back the ball now, daddy.

Gradually more doggies appeared, and we saw a Bull terrier puppy dashing towards us so mummy put the lead on me. He was a Bull Terrier and puppy so even though I tried to avoid him he tried to get me. Why are they like that? I don’t want them near me!!!

Mummy said “I’m sorry but MY DOG isn’t very friendly”. Then a man looked at mummy saying “He ain’t unfriendly.” The other woman also said “Yeah, he is friendly. He is a puppy.” HELLO???

Mummy got irritated because while they were saying this nonsense the puppy kept coming to me with noisy snort. Mummy said “MINE isn’t friendly!” loudly and then they said “Ah”, took the puppy and went. This kind of thing had happened a few times. This means that those doggie’s owner themselves think that Bull type doggies are unfriendly without being told so, don’t they? Even though mummy doesn’t like Bull type doggies very much she wouldn’t say “Your dog is unfriendly” would she? Listen properly, will you?

After we left the park a Jack Russell type doggie came out of someone’s front garden and followed us. Mummy took him and knocked the door but nobody answered. Hmmm...what shall we do about him? He wandered off again so mummy called him to stop. Maybe this isn’t his house but what can we do? RSPCA?

Then my favourite Mrs P came out of her house with Jessie, so mummy called out and asked if she knew about this doggie.

However she didn’t know. The doggie didn’t have a name tag or anything. Poor doggie.

We asked the doggie where his house was but he didn’t know. Then luckily we saw two police officers walking so we stopped them. Mrs P said that she could drive him to the police station but they said the police station in the high street is closed today. Is it a shop or something? Police station, closed? Strange isn’t it?

Anyway, one of the officers knocked a few doors down and one lady knew who’s doggie he was. We took the doggie to the owner and it seemed that the gate for the garden was open.

Because of this doggie rescue our walk was more than 2 hours today, so I am very tired. Now I have a late nap nap, daddy.

Along the river.

It is the last day of the bank holidays today. We walked a lot past two days so mummy and daddy decided to go somewhere nearby for our walkies. Where are we going, daddy?

We got in the car and soon arrived by the river Thames. There are a lot of attractive houses along the river aren’t there, daddy? We walked passed this big house and crossed the small bridge, and came to a small island called “Penton Hook Island”. It was very enjoyable walking around this small island wasn’t it, daddy? We even played with the water a little bit.

We came back to the entrance of the island to go back to the other side of the river, however the lock was open so we sat down and waited for a while, watching all those boats came in and out the lock.

Then, we carried on walking towards Staines for a while looking around the at views and the houses, and then Silky and I posed for daddy in front of the river.

We walked a bit further, turned around and came back to the place where we started. Mummy and daddy had ice cream there while Silky and I were lying down and watching the boats waiting for the lock to open again.

There were a few boats with doggies and they looked to be enjoying the boat trip. One day we should do it shouldn’t we, daddy? Hmmm...but I wonder...Today, every time Silky saw swans she wanted to jump in. Then, Silky might jump in the river from the boat mightn’t she? Silky, they are much bigger than you and not really friendly, so you shouldn’t do it.

Anyway it was only 5 minutes drive from our house. How come we hadn’t been there before. Strange isn’t it?

Our day out

Daddy took us to Margery wood and Gatton park which are in the Surrey Hills near Reigate by car. I had been there many times and it is one of my favourite places.

Daddy, you are going to take our pretty photos with your big man’s camera aren’t you?

We got out the car, walked through the small wood and crossed the bridge over M25. Now you can see the very refreshing view from the hill. There are many pretty houses down the hill and mummy liked this house with the big conservatory.

We started walking and came to Reigate fort. Silky and I liked this part and we wandered around on our own while daddy was taking photos. Something was interesting about there wasn’t it, Silky?

We carried on and passed this pretty house. Silky said she liked this house and peeped through the gate. She did the same on our way back so I think she really liked the house.

Then we came to a cafe, and mummy and daddy had coffee and snack snack there. Daddy, you and mummy had a picnic just before we started walking didn’t you? Are you hungry again?

After mummy and daddy’s snack snack we walked and walked, and saw a pond in the distance, the other side of a field. We decided to go to the pond and went down the hill, climbed over a fence but then daddy said he didn’t know if we were allowed in that field, and then we saw a lot of cows in the field. Hmmm...too many aren’t there? Let’s go back.

We posed for daddy here and there as usual. Silky is now very good at posing isn’t she, daddy?

On our way back mummy and daddy sat down where we had a picnic and had coffee from their flask while Silky and I were drinking water together. Mummy and daddy was saying that they should have brought some snack snack to eat. How much do they want to eat?

We had been walking for a few hours so now it was the time to go home. Then we saw big cows!! Woof!! They are pretty aren’t they? We went closer to have a look but not too close because they were having din-dins so we shouldn’t disturb them should we?

On our way home Silky was too tired to feel car sickness, and we fell asleep together.

We went to Chertsey.

We went to Chertsey by train today. Chertsey is one of my memorable places because I won the prettiest bitch competition at Chertsey Show in 2009. I got the 5th place for the pedigree as well. Come to think of it, that was the beginning of my modelling career wasn’t it daddy?

We got off the train and walked along the high street, and then we got to a small park. We ran a lot there and also chased pigeons too. Pigeons are everywhere aren’t they, daddy?

In the middle of the park people were playing cricket. Is it similar to baseball? They have tea in the middle of the game don’t they? Then do they have cake too? Woof!!

We left the park and walked along pretty houses and then we got to the river Themes. We saw boats and birds, and we walked and walked, and then we got lost.
It was  a really huge meadow and there was no signs or buildings. The only thing we could rely on was daddy’s BlackBerry GPS. Where are we, daddy?

Luckily, we came to the big road and daddy found out it was near Addleston station, so we got on the train from Addleston and came home.
It was quite long walk wasn’t it daddy? Silky and I were very tired and dozed off on the train. You know, the wobble on the train makes you feel very relaxed and sleepy doesn’t it?
Anyway, we recently use train often because Silky gets car sickness. Silky and I love getting on trains and looking around towns is quite interesting.
Well daddy, it is the first day of the bank holiday today. Where are we going tomorrow?

Friday 27 May 2011

We ran, ran, ran & ran

Yesterday we walked about an hour in the evening but it was only a lead walk so we were extremely happy being off the lead in the park today.

We ran, ran, ran and ran, and chased pigeons and squirrels together. Also Silky played with the green ball and I joined a little bit today. I felt like running a lot today.

After a while mummy told us to go home. “What? We haven’t run enough, mummy!!”

Silky and I wanted to stay so we offered mummy to go ahead. We know the direction towards our house don’t we, Silky? However mummy bribed us using the magic word “lunch lunch” so we followed her.

Sometimes people ask us if we don’t have raincoats, don’t they daddy? So Silky and I put them on to show our raincoats: My dragon coat and Silky’s orange DoggyMan coat.

Anyway daddy, we ran a lot today and enjoyed our walk very much. Running is good!! Exercise is good!! This weekend is bank holiday isn’t it? Where are you going to take us, daddy?

Zzz...
